Last updated: February 18, 2025

Hedlako respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of its platform to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), Hedlako will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable law. This policy describes how copyright owners may submit a valid notice and how accused parties may respond.

2.1 Required Elements of a Counter-Notification

2.2 Processing Your Counter-Notification

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, Hedlako will transmit a copy to the original complainant. 3. Repeat Infringer Policy

Hedlako maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. A repeat infringer is any user who has been the subject of more than one valid DMCA takedown notice. Account termination decisions are made at the sole discretion of Hedlako and do not require prior notice to the affected user.

4. Misrepresentation

Please be aware that submitting a notice or counter-notification with false or misleading information may expose you to liability. Under the DMCA, any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to damages, including costs and legal fees incurred by the alleged infringer, the copyright owner, or Hedlako.

5. Good-Faith Processing

Hedlako will process all valid DMCA notices in good faith and within a reasonable time. We reserve the right to decline to act on notices that are incomplete, inaccurate, abusive, or otherwise fail to meet the requirements described in this policy. Hedlako is not in a position to adjudicate disputes between third parties and encourages parties to resolve copyright disputes through direct communication where possible.

6. No Legal Advice

This policy is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. If you are unsure whether your use of material constitutes infringement, or whether material infringes your copyright, we recommend consulting a qualified legal professional before submitting a notice or counter-notification.
